Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall brings compassionate healthcare to meet the health care needs of our community, today and into the future.
In December 2007, Texas Health Rockwall opened with a goal of providing the Rockwall County community and surrounding areas with the best possible healthcare right here, close to home. With 50 patient beds, state of the art operating rooms and diagnostic services, as well as highly trained physicians, nurses and staff, Texas Health Rockwall is equipped to meet the needs of our growing community.
In addition to our goal of providing excellent medical care, our dedicated physicians, nurses, staff and volunteers knew that something had been missing from the healthcare industry for awhile. There was an understanding that patients needed to know that all their needs were being cared for. That their comfort, confidence and individual needs were just as important as the quality of their care. In other words, there was a need to make healthcare human again. And Texas Health Rockwall set out to do just that.
Instead of the “business as usual” approach of treating the condition and not the patient, Texas Health Rockwall is focused on quality of care, compassion and respect for its patients, community service and education. This patient-oriented approach is evident in each service line throughout the hospital. From the nurses in direct patient care to the admission representatives and administrative support staff, the intent is always to see our hospital through the patient’s eyes. “Our name says something about the way we serve our patients each day” says Ken Teel, hospital CEO “and that quality and commitment will not change.” Our corporate philosophy – Healing Hands. Caring Hearts. (SM) – is one that Texas Health Rockwall has identified with since its beginning.
And all this matters to us because as residents of this community, YOUR hospital is OUR hospital!
